Owned and operated by New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Cypress Hills Houses contains 15 buildings and serves more than 3,000 residents. Part of NYCHA’s multi-year roof replacement pilot program, the scope of work included almost 200,000 square feet of new roofs.  We also replaced existing built-up roofs with a new reinforced fluid-applied system. Furthermore, we demolished smoke rooms and chimneys, restored brickwork, modified the roof railings, and replaced 90 doors. To meet the needs of our client, ROMA committed to an aggressive timeline. By starting multiple phases simultaneously, our team completed the project six months ahead of schedule.
