Brooklyn Technical High School
Constructed between 1930 and 1933, Brooklyn Tech serves nearly 6,000 students. Operated by the New York City Department of Education, Tech is one of three original specialized high schools of New York City, with concentrations in science, technology engineering and mathematics.
Covering half a city block and rising over 12 stories, ROMA erected 200,000 square feet of supported scaffolding and nearly 3,000 linear feet of sidewalk shed. The scaffolding will provide access to the building’s façade for scheduled exterior restorations. Throughout the duration of the project, ROMA will monitor and address evolving needs per DOB regulations.
