Eastchester Gardens is a public housing development in the Bronx comprising 10 residential buildings and associated public spaces. Under the mayoral roofing program, the New York City Housing Authority chose ROMA Scaffolding to replace the deteriorated roofs of this development with new liquid applied roofs – for a total area of 130,000 square feet. Included within the scope of this project was the installation of 7,500 linear feet of new steel pipe railing at all roof perimeter curbs to maintain a minimum 42” height along the roof edges. We also replaced windows and doors at all rooftop structures.  
 
We met a very aggressive timeline for this project to offset the delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
