PS 19X
For this ground-up construction of a 50,000-square-foot academic building in the Bronx, we employed a combination of sidewalk shed and supported scaffolding. Our scaffolding measured 60,000 square feet and supported four levels of fully planked working decks around the entire building’s façade. To ensure continuity to the exterior work during the cold months, ROMA installed a high-wind-resistant tarp enclosure system, which shielded the workers and allowed the masonry work to be completed at the ideal temperature, guaranteeing a timely delivery of the project.
